Day 7 - This is your day of rest, where you look at what changes you have accomplished over the past week, physically, mentally and emotionally, and look forward to the following week.
Many people after experiencing this regenerating 21 day protocol stay on it for life. They find, as I do, that they are continually refreshing and regenerating their life experience, just like the healthy body, and that life becomes full, fulfilling and joyous

Day 6 - Do something new and different.
Day 6 - Do something new and different. Discover a world outside of your patterns. Go to work a different way. Read a book - start with the end chapter and work towards the front. Turn off the sound on your TV - notice how much you can 'hear' by not listening but by watching. Speak to the person sitting next to you on the bus or subway - or standing in line. Move beyond the box of your day to day experiences and see what sparkles of joy or neat experiences you will uncover for your life.
Day 4 - Speak with Admiration & Day 5 - Rediscover Nature
Day 4 - Speak with Admiration. Admire someone today. Tell the store clerk how good she looks, or how well he did his job. Tell your family how important they are to you. Call someone you haven't spoken to for a while and tell them how they make a difference in your life.
Day 5 - Rediscover Nature. Look outside of your window. REALLY look. Look at the shapes and colors in nature. Become aware of the juxtaposition of man and nature - how nature always wins. And let that guide you to honoring what is natural in your world.
Your hair. Your skin. The way your feet allow you to walk on the grass. Rediscover the grass, with your feet, with your hands, with your eyes. Notice the differences.

Day 3 - Be Silent and Still For 20 Minutes
Day 3 - Be Silent and Still For 20 Minutes. Just allow yourself to relax in a comfortable space, close your eyes and sit quietly, without expectations of anything. Give yourself the time and the space for your own higher self, or inner voice to be heard. It may feel strange at the beginning, but if you honor yourself this way, for just 20 minutes, you'll find you feel more centered and more at peace
Day 2 - Throw or give away one item a day
Day 2 - Throw or give away one item a day. We all collect too much 'stuff.' And by giving away one thing, I don't mean a bent spoon! Make it something sizeable that you haven't used or taken notice of for quite a while. Every item or 'thing' you shed allows more space around you. Space to grow and flourish, mentally and physically.
Day 1 - Forgive yourself
Day 1 - Forgive yourself.
Take one thought, action - or non-action, that you regret,
and are holding onto. It's time to let it go. It's time to start
accepting yourself for who you are. Stop holding yourself
hostage, accept that we all make mistakes, and commit
to moving forward. Write a note of forgiveness for yourself
and mail it. The feeling you have of letting go will be
compounded and increased ten-fold when you read
the letter as it arrives in your mail a day or so later.

Six Days to Reinvent Yourself
Why six days...? Because on the 7th day you will rest and review your plan for the joyful fulfilling life you have just planned for yourself.
Let's look at what changes happen automatically, almost without your help. And I say 'almost' because it is automatic unless you are under enormous stress, in which case, everything slows down. We'll talk about how to deal with stress later.
The automatic changes take place in your body:
• Your body exchanges 2.5 billion cells per minute
• Your body regenerates all blood cells every 15 days
• Your body regenerates all heart cells every four months
• Your body regenerates internal organ cells every six months
• Your body regenerates all muscles every nine months
• Your body regenerates all skeletal cells every seven years.
However, subluxations, or energy blocks, caused by stress and tension will not allow the body to regenerate or heal, or adapt to an environment. Which is why we need a recuperative period after surgery.
So let's start with you planning to change your life, one day at a time. You'll be doing this exercise for at least 21 days - that's how long it takes to make or break a habit)

The Law of Saving
Financial freedom comes to the person who saves ten percent or more of his income throughout his lifetime.
One of the smartest things that you can ever do for yourself is to develop the habit of saving part of your salary, every single paycheck. Individuals, families and even societies are stable and prosperous to the degree to which they have high savings rates. Savings today are what guarantee the security and the possibilities of tomorrow.
Start with You, first outcome of the Law of Saving comes from the self. It is to “Pay yourself first.”
Begin today to save ten percent of your earnings, off the top, and never touch it. This is your fund for long-term financial accumulation and you never use it for any other reason except to assure your financial future.
Develop New Habits Regarding Money; the remarkable thing is that when you pay yourself first, and force yourself to live on the other ninety percent; you will soon become accustomed to it. You are a creature of habit. When you regularly put away ten percent of your earnings, you soon become comfortable living on the other ninety percent. Many people start by saving ten percent of their income and then graduate to saving fifteen percent, twenty percent, and even more. And their financial lives change dramatically as a result. So will yours.
Take Every Advantage, the second corollary of the Law of Saving says, “Take advantage of tax deferred savings and investment plans.” Because of high and even multiple tax rates, money that is saved or invested without being taxed accumulates at a rate of 30% to 40% faster than money that is subject to taxation. Self-made millionaires are almost obsessive about accumulating their funds in assets such as real estate; self owned businesses and equities that increase in value without triggering tax liabilities.
Invest in company pension and retirement plans, Education Investment Accounts, stock option programs and whatever else has been approved by the savings rated investment for long term financial accumulation. Make every dollar count!
Action Exercises, here are two things you can do to apply this law immediately:
First, begin today to put away ten percent of your earnings. Set up a special account for this purpose and treat your contributions to this account with the same respect that you do your rent or mortgage payments each month.
Second, become a lifelong student of money. Read the best books, take courses and subscribe to the most helpful magazines. Know what you are doing so you can always make intelligent decisions when you invest your funds.

Speed and necessity….
"In the struggle for survival, the fittest win out at the expense of their rivals because they succeed in adapting themselves best to their environment. " –Charles Darwin
We need to understand the link between the speed of our work and how our mind decides the speed and pace of work. Our speed and pace of work is not a peripheral issue but is a deep mental issue. There are occasions when we are really fast and there are other occasions when we are not as fast as we have to be. We can not be slower or faster than we want to be. Everything has a strong reason in our mind.
We need to enter every activity as though our very survival depends on that activity. With this state of mind alone, we will be at the peak of our efficiency and speed.
While I write this I am reminded of a small story I read somewhere. A rabbit was being chased by a cheetah. As we know cheetah is an animal which can run very fast and the speed of a rabbit is no match for that of the cheetah. Even after a very long chase, the cheetah was not able to catch the rabbit. Ultimately the cheetah gave up chasing and asked the rabbit how it is able to run faster than the cheetah.
The rabbit replied, ‘It’s true that you are capable of running faster than me. But you see, you are running for your food, but I am running for my life!’ and so saying disappeared into the forest!
Now you will understand what determines our speed!

The Process of Feeling Loved
When we hide who we are -- figuratively wearing bags on our heads -- we can only feel alone and miserable. When we tell the truth about ourselves, we can be seen by others as we really are. And then we can feel genuinely accepted by people and believe that they truly care about our happiness, which is the definition of Real Love. In short, we create the opportunity to feel loved when we tell the truth about ourselves, as the Wart King did.
Only when we take the bags off our heads -- when we tell the truth about ourselves, especially about our mistakes and flaws -- can we find people to accept and love us in the same way the Wise Man did for the Wart King. The effect is miraculous, even when we feel accepted and loved for only short periods of time. A wise man (or woman) is anyone who feels sufficiently loved himself that he is capable of accepting and loving us when he sees the truth about us. We'll discuss the role of wise men -- and how we can all become wise men and women

Mistake #1) Betting Your Love-Life On His "Potential"
Do you know any women who want the man they are dating to behave differently?
Of course you do. And just like me, I'm sure you have friends who date guys who do not have much going for them or who do not treat them very well.
Somehow these women always have an excuse for the guy's shortcomings.
What's going on here? It is actually very simple.
Women (and men) don't base their choices of men on how "nice" or "good" someone is to them day-to-day.
Women choose the men they do because they feel a powerful GUT LEVEL ATTRACTION for them.
And guess what? Some women will continue to put up with a guy that does not treat them very well.
Sometimes for months or years... But why in the world would a woman do that!?
Well, to put it simply, women confuse the strong attraction they feel for the guy with a deeper "connection".
And women who do this are doomed to end up in failed relationships with the "wrong" guys.
How do I know? Experiences express its endeavor. Because I have seen it at least a hundred times... And because I have been this guy in the past myself.
Thinking back on past dating and relationships I have had, I was selfish and did not offer much.
I am amazed the women put up with me. But they did...all the while hoping that I would somehow change.
The women I dated hoped I would change.
The only thing they saw in me that led them to want to keep me around was the "potential" they saw in me to share my feelings and communicate with them.
The potential for something better and the potential for me to change and be a better lover, boyfriend, companion or whatever...
The truth was, I was hopelessly bad at these things at the time.
And more importantly, I was not even at a place in my life where I knew how to or was interested in developing a deep and committed relationship - with ANYONE.
But deep down these women believed that if they tried hard enough, that it would make up for what was lacking.
They believed that I could become someone else with them.... and that this would be easy for us both.
Talk about a losing battle. It does not make a lot of "logical" sense...
But until you accept that lots of women do this AND that YOU could be doing it on some level, you'll NEVER have the success with men that you choose and want.
to be continued..........

The Woman Only [TWO]
When God created woman he was working late on the 6th day
An angel came by and said: “Why spend so much time on that one?”
And the Lord answered: “Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?”
“She must be washable, but not made of plastic, have more than 200 moving parts which all must be replaceable and she must function on all kinds of food, she must be able to embrace several kids at the same time, give a hug that can heal anything from a bruised knee to a broken heart and she must do all this with only two hands”.
The angel was impressed. “Just two hands....impossible! “ And this is the standard model?!
“Too much work for one day....wait until tomorrow and then complete her“.
“I will not”, said the Lord. “I am so close to complete this creation, which will be the favourite of my heart”.
“She cures herself when sick & she can work 18 hours a day”. Angel came nearer & touched the woman.
“But you have made her so soft, Lord” “She is soft", said the Lord, “But I have also made her strong.
You can’t imagine what she can endure and overcome. “ “Can she think?" the angel asked.
The Lord answered: “Not only can she think, she can reason and negotiate."
The angel touched the woman’s cheek....
“Lord, it seems this creation is leaking! You have put too many burdens on her.”
“She is not leaking....it’s a tear” the lord corrected the angel. “What’s it for?" asked the angel.
And the Lord said:
“Tears are her way of expressing grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.”
This made a big impression on the angel; “Lord, you are genius.
You thought of everything. The woman is indeed marvellous!"
Indeed she is!
Woman has strengths that amazes man. She can handle trouble and carry heavy burdens.
She holds happiness, love and opinions. She smiles when feeling like screaming.
She sings when she feels like crying, cries when she is happy and laughs when she is afraid.
She fights for what she believes in. Stand up against injustice.
She doesn’t take “no” for an answer, when she can see a better solution. She gives herself so her family can thrive. She takes her friend to the doctor if she is afraid. Her love is unconditional.
She cries when her kids are victorious. She is happy when her friends do well.
She is glad when she hears of a birth or a wedding.
Her heart is broken when a next of kin or friend dies. But she finds the strength to get on with life.
She knows that a kiss and a hug can heal a broken heart.
There is only one thing wrong with her She forgets what she is worth...
Pass this on to your lady friends to remind them how fantastic they are....pass it on to males you know. Sometimes they need to be reminded..!!!

Spiritual Evolution Is Cyclical But On An Upward Trend
"The presence of the Supreme God in our galaxy is called the Galactic Logos or the Galactic Parabrahman.
The Golden Age (Spiritual Age) occurs when our solar system is nearest to the center of the galaxy, nearest to the Galactic Logos.
The Dark Age occurs when it is farthest away. This great truth has been taught by the Great Spiritual Teachers. This great truth has been recently clarified by Sri Yukteswar Giri, in his book, The Holy Science, 1894.
Spiritual Evolution is governed by the Law of Cycles. It is cyclical but on an upward trend". (The Existence of God is Self-Evident, pages 57-59)
Cosmic Year
In 1894, Sri Yukteswar wrote the book, The Holy Science. He described that our solar system rotates around a grand center called Vishnunabhi, which is the seat of the creative power. (Page 7)
"According to science, our solar system orbits around the center of the galaxy, along with all the other stars in the galaxy but not within the same period. Stars nearest the center have a shorter period of orbit than those farther out.
Our solar system is located in the outer part of the galaxy. The speed of the solar system due to the galactic rotation is about 220 kilometers per second. The disk of stars in the Milky Way is about 100,000 light years across and our solar system is located about 30,000 light years from the galaxy’s center.
Based on a distance of 30,000 light years and a speed of 220 kilometers per second, our solar system orbits around the center of the Milky Way once every 225 million years.
This period of time is called a cosmic year. Our solar system has orbited the galaxy more than 20 times during its 5 billion year lifetime. The motions of the period are studied by measuring the positions of lines in the galaxy spectra". (http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2002/StacyLeong.shtml)
"By the latest scientific computation, using a radio telescope system that measures celestial distances 500 times more accurately than the Hubble Space Telescope, astronomers plotted the motion of the Milky Way and found that our sun and its family of planets were orbiting the galaxy at about 135 miles per second.
That means it takes the solar system about 226 million years to orbit the Milky Way and puts the most precise value ever determined on one of the fundamental motions of the Earth and its sun, said James Moran of Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, Massachusetts".

/space/astronomy/news/1999/ds/990602.html)
Binary and Multiple Stars
According to Sri Yukteswar, in oriental astronomy, moons revolve around their planets, and planets turning on their axis, revolve with their moons around the sun; and the sun, with its planets and their moons, takes some star for its dual and revolves round it in about 24,000 years of our earth—a celestial phenomenon which causes the backward movement of the equinoctial points around the zodiac. (The Holy Science by Sri Yukteswar, page 7)
"Historically, double stars were first noted by Ptolemy. The first double star was discovered and separated with a telescope was by Giovanni Battista Riccioli in 1651, followed by Huygens, 1656.
The first catalog of double stars, a list of 80, was compiled by Christian Meyer of Mannheim in 1778, followed by William Herschel’s catalog in 1782 with 269 pairs and in 1785 of about 700 pairs".
"The term binary star was coined by Sir William Herschel in 1802 to designate, in his definition, 'a real double star – the union of two stars that are formed together in one system by the law of attraction' ".
"While there is no obvious visible companion star to our sun, there could be a dark binary, such as a brown dwarf or possibly a relatively small black hole, either of which might be very difficult to detect, without accurate and lengthy analysis".
"It is believed that a quarter to half of all stars are in binary systems, with as many as 10% of these systems containing more than two stars (triples, quadruples, etc.)".
Golden Age and Dark Age
“When the sun reached the point in its orbit which is farthest from the grand center, the intellectual power of man was so diminished that it could no longer comprehend anything beyond the gross material of creation”. (The Holy Science, page 13)
When the sun reaches the point in its orbit which is nearest to the grand center, “The human intellect can comprehend all, even God the Spirit, beyond this visible world”. (The Holy Science, page 11)
The highest point of the Golden Age or the Spiritual Age occurs when the sun is nearest the center of the galaxy, nearest to the Galactic Logos or the Galactic Parabrahman. The lowest point of the Dark Age occurs when the sun is farthest away from the center of the galaxy, farthest from the Galactic Logos or the Galactic Parabrahman.
This is similar to the relationship of a Sat Guru (main spiritual teacher) and his disciple. When the disciple is physically near the Sat Guru, the disciple’s spiritual cord and chakras become much bigger.
The mind of the disciple becomes clear and understanding abstruse matters becomes easy. Achieving higher degree of spiritual oneness and illumination becomes much easier. When the disciple is nearest the Sat Guru, this corresponds to the Golden Age.
When the disciple is physically farther from the Sat Guru, the disciple’s spiritual cord and chakras become much smaller and return to their usual sizes. The mind becomes less clear.
Understanding of abstruse subject matters becomes difficult. Practicing meditation requires much more effort. When the disciple is farthest from the Sat Guru, this corresponds to the Dark Age.
From the lowest point of the Dark Age to the highest point of the Golden Age takes 12,000 years. This is called the ascending arc. From the peak of the Golden Age to the lowest point of the Dark Age takes also 12,000 years. This is called the descending arc. The complete cycle takes 24,000 years. The Golden Age is called Satya Yuga. The Dark Age is called Kali Yuga.
Human evolution is not linear but cyclical on an upward trend. Evolution of civilization is not linear but cyclical, also on an upward trend. Civilizations have risen and fallen countless times.
This is why in ancient civilizations there are mentions of flying vehicles or airplanes and objects that reflect the existence of highly advanced civilizations. This article is a result of the union of science and spirituality
"Real self-knowledge is the awakening to consciousness of the Divine Nature of Man." ~ Helena Blavatsky
"The eyes of wisdom are like the ocean depths; there is neither joy nor sorrow in them. Therefore the soul of the disciple must become stronger than joy, and greater than sorrow. " ~ Helena Blavatsky

" ~ Helena Blavatsky

control your thinking in very specific ways
Control Your Reactions and Responses
There are three basic differences in the reactions of optimists and pessimists. The first difference is that the optimist sees a setback as temporary, while the pessimist sees it as permanent. The optimist sees an unfortunate event, such as an order that falls through or a sales call that fails, as a temporary event, something that is limited in time and that has no real impact on the future. The pessimist, on the other hand, sees negative events as permanent, as part of life and destiny.
Isolate the Incident
The second difference between the optimist and the pessimist is that the optimist sees difficulties as specific, while the pessimist sees them as pervasive. This means that when things go wrong for the optimist, he looks at the event as an isolated incident largely disconnected from other things that are going on in his life.
See Setbacks as Temporary Events
For example, if something you were counting on failed to materialize and you interpreted it to yourself as being an unfortunate event, but something that happens in the course of life and business, you would be reacting like an optimist. The pessimist, on the other hand, sees disappointments as being pervasive. That is, to him they are indications of a problem or shortcoming that pervades every area of life.
Don't Take Failure Personally
The third difference between optimists and pessimists is that optimists see events as external, while pessimists interpret events as personal. When things go wrong, the optimist will tend to see the setback as resulting from external factors over which one has little control.
If the optimist is cut off in traffic, for example, instead of getting angry or upset, he will simply downgrade the importance of the event by saying something like, “Oh, well, I guess that person is just having a bad day.”
The pessimist on the other hand, has a tendency to take everything personally. If the pessimist is cut off in traffic, he will react as though the other driver has deliberately acted to upset and frustrate him.
Remain Calm and Objective
The hallmark of the fully mature, fully functioning, self-actualizing personality is the ability to be objective and unemotional when caught up in the inevitable storms of daily life. The superior person has the ability to continue talking to himself in a positive and optimistic way, keeping his mind calm, clear and completely under control. The mature personality is more relaxed and aware and capable of interpreting events more realistically and less emotionally than is the immature personality. As a result, the mature person exerts a far greater sense of control and influence over his environment, and is far less likely to be angry, upset, or distracted.
Take the Long View
Look upon the inevitable setbacks that you face as being temporary, specific and external. View the negative situation as a single event that is not connected to other potential events and that is caused largely by external factors over which you can have little control. Simply refuse to see the event as being in any way permanent, pervasive or indicative of personal incompetence of inability.
Resolve to think like an optimist, no matter what happens. You may not be able to control events but you can control the way you react to them.
Action Exercises
Now, here are three actions you can take immediately to put these ideas into action.
First, remind yourself continually that setbacks are only temporary, they will soon be past and nothing is as serious as you think it is.
Second, look upon each problem as a specific event, not connected to other events and not indicative of a pattern of any kind. Deal with it and get on with your life.
Third, recognize that when things go wrong, they are usually caused by a variety of external events. Say to yourself, “What can’t be cured must be endured,” and then get back to thinking about your goals.

women equality
Emerging Trends of Women in the IT Profession – India
Introduction:
India has emerged as one of well recognized developing countries that is serving the Globe with its Information Technology Industry contribution. Women personalities like Sarojini Naidu & Indira Gandhi made India proud by leading from the front. Today, there are many such women who have been the backbone of the recognition that India has achieved in ICT business. A silent revolution is taking place with evolution of women empowerment in the knowledge era. They are getting the best access to Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education, employment opportunity & becoming owners of IT companies.
The purpose of this presentation is to map the emerging trends in India on the role of Women in Information & Communication Technology and look at what could happen in future, if this trend continues and is maintained with gender equality.
ICT access & emerging trend in education:
In the past decades, Indian economy was more determined by Agricultural & Industrial sector growth. However, last 10 Years especially from 1995, the dependency on Information Technology for building its economy is very explicitly visible. This is demonstrated by virtue of IT industry Foreign Exchange earning being the # 2 contributor to Indian Foreign Exchange reserves and comfortable balance of payment position. IT industry turnover of US $ 16500 Million in 2002-03 contributes 3.15% of National GDP. This is higher than the 2.87% in 2001-02 Can Indian men alone could have got the economy spiral to this extent? The answer is an obvious “NO”. In a country where 50% of the population is women, who else could have supported this revolution and remarkable turn around!! The obvious answer is “Indian Women in IT”.
In the early 80’s there were hardly few students who took to Computer Science. Women amongst them were very handful. Communication infrastructure and Curriculum support for literacy in computer was at a nascent stage at that time. Access to Information and Communication Technology itself was limited and was available only to those who could afford its cost. For example getting a telephone line, purchasing a computer & software were not that easy to reach the masses in India.
Twenty years down the line there has been dramatic and systematic change in access to ICT. Affordability, Reach, Current Technology, Academic support, Human Resource training, Employment opportunity, Global Connectivity etc in ICT segment have been rapidly transforming Indian economy and its citizen’s way of life. Educated Women have had significant breakthrough by breaking the traditional household, child rearing, socially oppressed life style, because of access to ICT. Testimony to this is the enrollment in engineering education and the growing literacy level even amongst the rural women. Government of India through its “National Programme for Education of Girls in Elementary Level (NPEGEL) with an outlay of US$ 230 Million & reach in 21 States has created enough synergy to improve rural female literacy and gender gap in the educationally backward blocks. Co-education in almost all schools, colleges and exclusive women academic institutions have shown the door for more girls to pursue studies of their interest. Prominent amongst the preferred education currently is ICT field. This emerging trend is basically due to “WOMEN” being equally recognized for their ability and contribution in “KNOWLEDGE” oriented industry with less of physical and masculine demands for execution of work.
